Refund policy

At MrCircuit Technology, we want every teacher, school, parent, and student to receive the correct items in good working condition. Please read our return policy before placing an order.

1. Buyer’s Remorse / Change-of-Mind Returns

We accept change-of-mind returns within 30 days of delivery only if the item is:

  • Unused
  • Unopened or in original packaging
  • Complete with all parts, manuals, bags, labels, and accessories
  • In resellable condition

Please include your order number, the item you want to return, and the reason for the return.

For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping charges, if any, are non-refundable.

2. Items That Cannot Be Returned for Buyer’s Remorse

For safety, quality control, and classroom-use reasons, we do not accept buyer’s-remorse returns on:

  • Opened electronic components
  • Used lab kits or experiment kits
  • Items with missing parts
  • Damaged or altered items
  • Downloaded, accessed, or used digital materials
  • Online platform access, subscriptions, or digital lesson access once activated
  • Custom, bulk, quote-based, or purchase-order school orders, unless approved in writing

3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Photos of the product, packaging, and shipping box if damaged in transit

If we confirm that the item was damaged, defective, or sent incorrectly, we will make it right by offering one of the following:

  • A replacement item
  • Missing replacement parts
  • Store credit
  • A refund, when appropriate

For approved damaged, defective, or incorrect-item claims, MrCircuit Technology will cover the return shipping cost when a return is required.

4. Missing Parts

Many MrCircuit products include small electronic components. Please inspect your order when it arrives.

If a kit or lab is missing a part, contact us within 7 days of delivery. In most cases, we will send the missing part instead of requiring a full return.

5. Return Approval Required

All returns must be approved before being shipped back. Items returned without prior approval may not be accepted or refunded.

After contacting us, we will provide return instructions if your return is approved.

6. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you whether the refund is approved.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow time for your bank, card provider, or payment processor to post the refund.

We reserve the right to reduce or deny a refund if the returned item is used, damaged, incomplete, missing parts, or not in resellable condition.

7. Exchanges

We may offer exchanges for eligible items, depending on stock availability. If you ordered the wrong item, please contact us as soon as possible so we can help.

8. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before they ship. Because many orders ship quickly, cancellation is not guaranteed once an order has been placed.

If an order has already shipped, it will need to be handled as a return under this policy.

For unshipped orders that cannot be fulfilled within the stated shipping timeframe, we will notify you and provide options, including cancellation and refund where required. The FTC’s mail, internet, or telephone order rule requires sellers to have a reasonable basis for promised shipping times and to offer cancellation/refund options when shipment is delayed beyond the promised time.

9. School Purchase Orders and Bulk Orders

School purchase orders, quote-based orders, and bulk classroom orders may have special handling requirements.

Returns for these orders must be approved in writing by MrCircuit Technology. Opened, used, or distributed classroom materials are not eligible for buyer’s-remorse returns.
